With the release of a new, super-high efficient LED lightbulb that has hundreds of color tones within the light spectrum was an industry twist on multiple technologies. The creation of this packaging for CREE was targeted to the press, Home Depot and Lowe’s purchasing executives. The multicolor concept was further conveyed through the interior confetti cushioning that let the person opening know that this bulb was all about multiple hues – before they even twisted it on a lightbulb base and plugged it in.
